January 28th was my mom’s move in date. We were very pleased with her transition. Her room was ready for us to add personal touches, therapy was prepared to get her moving after the ride, admissions reviewed her file and additional contact information that would assist her records, and introductions with departments were completed. After a quick visit with Mandy, hair and nail appointments were scheduled, and it was almost time for dinner. I am ecstatic to know that by the time of my departure, she had met several residents in the dining area and the mom of a friend of mine.
